How does an on-line program work?

  1. This course is composed of 38 Unit/Chapters.  Each unit has four sections: Reading Assignment, Interactive Exercises, Reading Comprehensive Quiz and a Unit Exam.
  2. Each Unit/Chapter has a Reading Assignment.  The course is designed with learning objectives so as the student goes through the unit, the student knows what the objectives are.
  3. Every Reading Comprehension Quiz needs to completed as does each Unit Exam. The student needs to obtain 100% on each Reading Comprehensive quiz and a minimum of 75% on the Unit Exams. This is the most important part of the course, because as the student works through these modules it demonstrates mastery of the course.
  4. A student can move on to the next unit without passing the previous one, but they won't be able to access the final exam until every Unit/Chapter is completed and passed.
  5. The student must complete each quiz to take the proctored end of course exam.
  6. The student must complete the nine required homework assignments. The homework assignments will be e-mail to the student, upon registering for the course.
  7. The course exam has 150 multiple choice questions and the student needs to score a 75% on the Exam.
  8. This final exam is a proctored final exam.  The proctor must be a person not related and who will not benefit from the student obtaining a real estate license.  The final exam must be mailed to the student's designated proctor.  When the student completes the on-line course work, the homework assignments and the homework affidavit, the student should e-mail Instructors their proctor's name and address so the school can mail the exam and documents to the proctor.
  9. Before a final completion certificate can be mailed to the student and the official notification to the State of Georgia, the final exam, the answer sheet, the homework assignments,  the "Homework Affidavit" , "Student Affidavit" and the "Proctor Affidavit" must be completed and turned into the school.
  10. What happens if I fail the end-of-course exam?  A student who fails the end-of-course final examination may take only one retake examination.  If the student fails the second examination, the student must repeat the course and pay the full tuition again.

Information the student needs to know before taking this course:

  1. Once the student purchases this course, the student CANNOT get a refund.
  2. Once the student purchases the course, the student has ONE year to complete the program.
  3. Once the student completes all the courses 38 Unit/Chapters, the student will then need to pass the monitored end -of-course exam with minimum score of 75%.  The student is given 3.5 hours to take the course exam.  The student must call the school to work out a time and place for the monitored course exam.

These are real world exercises that agents do everyday.  VERY worth while.  These items are a very important part of this course.  The documents will be need to be completed and mailed to the school before the school can issue a "Certificate of Completion".
  7. Every On-Line student must agree to the following "Student Affidavits" : "I certify that I personally completed all assignments and that my work is based on my own personal efforts, unassisted by any unauthorized individual or resource.   I understand that receiving unauthorized assistance or tampering with results will invalidate my course credit and may be a cause of action under the real estate laws and regulation of Georgia."  Not only is this affidavit necessary to be signed for the course as a whole but the "Homework Affidavit" must also be signed and mailed to the school before course credit can be given to the student.
  8. Upon completing the course, Dearborn's RE Campus posts for Cooke Real Estate School a daily report of student's completing the course.  Once the student completes the program and mailed in their additional course work, the student needs to call the school to schedule their end-of-course exam.  The end-of-course exam is a monitored exam.  Please call or e-mail us and the school will arrange for your final exam.
  9. This course is NOT designed to be printed for security purposes and copyright regulations.
  10. The student records are kept for five years from the date of completion.  Student records include the student's name, the address, license number, social security number, date of enrollment, course title, records of completion of the various unit/chapter quizzes, time spend on each  unit, copies of course material including timeline and objectives, plus copies of course material (homework) that are turned in a final examination records are all kept at the school.
