How does this On-Line program work?

  1. This course is composed of 13 Unit/Chapters.  Each unit has four sections: Reading Assignment, Interactive Exercises, Reading Comprehensive Quiz and a Unit Exam.
  2. Each Unit/Chapter has Reading Assignment.  The course is designed with learning objectives so as the student goes through the unit, the student knows what the objectives are.
  3. Each Reading Comprehension Quiz needs to completed as do all Unit Exams. The student needs to obtain 100% on the Reading Comprehensive quizzes and a minimum of 75% on the Unit Exams. This is the most important part of the course, because as the student works through these modules it demonstrates mastery of the course.
  4. A student can move on to the next unit without passing the previous one, but they won't be able to take monitored final exam until everything (unit/chapter quiz and homework) is completed and passed.
  5. The proctored course exam is composed of 50 questions and the student must score 75% to pass the course.
  6. Upon completion, the final exam, answer sheet, "Student Affidavit"  and the "Proctor Affidavit" must be completed and returned to the school,  Upon receipt, the certificate of completion and notification to the State of Georgia will be sent out.
  7. What happens if I fail the end-of-course exam?  A student who fails the end-of-course final examination may take only one retake examination.  If the student fails the second examination, the student must repeat the course and pay the full tuition again.

Information the students needs to know before taking this course.

  1. Once the student purchases this course, the student CANNOT get a refund.
  2. Once the student purchases the course, the student has ONE year to complete the program.

Once the student completes all the course's 13 unit/Chapters, the student will then need to pass the proctored 50 multiple choice end -of-course exam with minimum score of 75%.  The student is given 3.5 hours to take the course exam.  The student must call or e-mail the school at the school to work out a time and place for the proctored course exam.  If the student fails the end of course exam, the student may take only one retake exam.  If the student fails the second examination, the student must repeat the course. The student would need to pay the full tuition fee for the second course.
  5. The Student must e-mail or call the school with the name and address of the individual that is going to proctor the student taking the end-of-course exam. The proctor can not be a relative or a person who is going to benefit by the student being licensed in the field of real estate.  The proctor must mail back the exam, the "Proctor Affidavit" and all documents to the school for grading.

Every On-Line student must agree to the following "Student Affidavit" : "I certify that I personally completed all assignments and that my work is based on my own personal efforts, unassisted by any unauthorized individual or resource.   I understand that receiving unauthorized assistance or tampering with results will invalidate my course credit and may be a cause of action under the real estate laws and regulation of Georgia." This document will be needed to be mailed to the school prior to any "Completion Certificate" being issued.
  9. Upon completing the On-Line portion of the course, Dearborn's RE Campus posts for Cooke Real Estate School a daily report of student's completing the course.  Once the student completes the program and mailed in their additional course work, the student needs to call the school to schedule their end-of-course exam.  The end-of-course exam is a monitored exam.  Please call or e-mail us and the school will arrange for your final exam.
